Thank you for checking out this week’s product update from PREreview.org!
What’s new at PREreview?
This week we improved the clarity of the competing interests modal in our PREreview publication workflow. We hope the revised copy provides better guidance for our reviewers on when it’s appropriate and necessary to report a competing interest.
We also updated our COAR Notify Protocol integration to send a notice back to any connected server once a review has been published in response to a request-for-review from that server. If you routinely publish or work with a server that you think might benefit from connecting with PREreview through our COAR work, please let us know by emailing help@prereview.org.
What’s next?
Remember to register for our next round of community design sprints about dataset review. These calls will help us learn alongside community members as we explore how PREreview might best develop a structured dataset review workflow. We’re excited to begin building for the review of early research outputs in addition to preprints.
