Welcome back for another update all about PREreview.org!
What’s new at PREreview?
This week, we’ve advanced our work on our planned ORCID integration along two lines:
- We’ve begun developing and testing a new, more automated process for adding multiple authors to a review for collaborative PREreviews like those authored by PREreview Clubs.
- We’ve begun implementing a more automated ORCID authentication process for all of those listed authors so that we can write their public PREreview activity to the Peer Review section of their ORCID profiles if they would like us to.
We also began sending confirmation emails to bioRxiv authors who request reviews of their preprints via our COAR Notify Protocol integration and the #request-a-review channel on our Slack community.
Finally, this week the Open Box Science Club went live!
What’s next?
After we release these pieces of work, we’ll focus on localization and translation for a bit, as well as on better search and recommendation tools for PREreviewers who want to find relevant preprints to review.
