What’s new at PREreview?
We just soft-launched our experimental matchmaking feature which connects PREreviewers with preprints relevant to their research interests. To begin, you paste in the DOIs or URLs of research objects like preprints and published articles. Then, we give you suggestions about other preprints we think you’d like based on the topics of the works you shared with us.
You are invited to try out our matchmaking experiment and share any feedback you have with us by emailing help@prereview.org. We’d love to know if the recommendations you get back are of interest to you. Would you read them? Would you review them?
Alongside that project, we’re improving the way requests work on PREreview.org. This will allow us to display your public request-a-review history along with your public review history on your profile page. You’ll also be able to sign up for notifications when a review is published about a preprint you requested for review.
We’ve also added support for reviewing datasets from SciELO Data and have begun translating our dataset review workflow into Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish. Help us out by proofreading the translated strings of text in our collaborative Crowdin project!

What’s next?
We’re planning a community design sprint about how we can better support teaching and learning with PREreview.org in May. Keep up with our social media channels and newsletter to learn more about these events in the near future.
We’re also foreseeing an informational session in early June for anyone who’d like to volunteer to contribute to our next round of localization and translation work in Arabic and French.
