Welcome to this week’s update from PREreview.org!

What’s new at PREreview?

PREreview Clubs continue to grow - two new Clubs go live this week with another onboarding call for a third club next week. Are you part of a classroom, lab, or other  organization that would like to author collaborative open, peer preprint reviews? Learn more about our PREreview Clubs offering and sign up to start your own!

We also got our first Structured PREreview published on PREreview.org! Structured PREreviews help PREreviewers jumpstart their work with community-tested prompts and new comment fields that allow PREreviewers to quickly assess a preprint and while providing further context and explanation for authors wondering how best to improve their work. Click here to start your own!

Our work with partners on to create a new request-a-review workflow between PREreview and their preprint servers is quickly advancing, as well. We hope to release this feature with two partners in the coming weeks.

Profiles will also be updated very soon so you can choose to share more information about your review activity and interests with our community. We’ve finished overhauling them behind the scenes and need to do a little bit of internal testing before release.

What’s next?

We’re planning our October all-hands meeting and starting work to overhaul our registration and onboarding process soon. We’ll also clean up little bits and pieces of the user interface and navigation on PREreview.org as we go. After our work week, we’ll begin updating search and discovery on PREreview.org.
