Hello and thank you for joining us for this week's platform update from PREreview.org!
What’s new at PREreview?
We are right in the midst of testing our new, more automated approach to adding multiple-authors to a PREreview. Not only will this allow PREreviewers to choose how they would like to be credited on the reviews they contribute to, but it will also help us authenticate their participation so they can opt in to having us write their public PREreview activity to the peer review section of their ORCID profiles very soon. Exciting times!
This week and next we’ll gather feedback from teammates and PREreview Club leads before another round of iteration and improvement ahead of release on PREreview.org.
What’s next?
Once the multiple-authors piece is ready for launch, we’ll move on to our planned ORCID integration and then tackle search and recommendations on PREreview.org, especially for alerting our PREreviewers to requests that match their research interests.
