What’s new at PREreview?
We’re continuing work on our matchmaking feature. Following up from our first experiment, we’ll be sharing a new survey soon with community members who have participated in our user research so far. This will help us further improve the relevancy of the suggestions we make to PREreviewers about which requested preprints they might want to review next.
This week we also added a new optimization to our review workflow for PREreview Clubs. If you are a club lead, you can now let us know from within the review workflow itself that we should attach that review to your club.
What’s next?
Next, we’ll add another clubs optimization to the review workflow that will allow reviewers to ask for a review to be added to a club. This request will then go to a club lead for approval before we add the review to their club. This optimization came out of our recent community design sprint on teaching and learning with PREreview. We hope that this feature will help instructors use PREreview Clubs in the classroom, as members of clubs tied to particular courses will soon be able to submit their reviews to a club as if they were submitting an assignment for class.
We’ll be continuing our matchmaking work, too, and getting ready to adopt and migrate to a new CMS later this year.
