Thank you for checking out this week’s update from PREreview.org!

What’s new at PREreview?

We’ve launched improved messaging on the #request-a-review channel of the PREreview community Slack! Our new messages should help you find relevant preprints to review more quickly than ever and in a warmer, more personal way.

If you haven’t clicked on that “Write a PREreview button” next to a request yet, we hope you’ll give it a try soon and let us know what you think. We’re excited for this opportunity to help community members to help one another with open, peer preprint review.

On other news, the Reviewing Dental Articles Club has launched, and we have added support for PsychArchives.

What’s next?

Soon, we will also experiment with threaded request messages to help you quickly scan keywords to determine a request’s relevancy to you before learning more about it and starting your review.

We’re going to do a bit of pick-up work on our #share-a-review channel next, drawing from what we’ve learned improving #request-a-review.

Our next big initiative will be bringing recommendations and search back to PREreview.org. That work should begin mid-April.

Let us know what you think

Share your feedback on recommendations, search, or any other part of PREreview.orgby scheduling a user research interview with Product Manager Chad Sansing. Click here to sign up for a chat. If you can’t find an available appointment time that fits your schedule, please email Chad to arrange a call. Whenever possible, we offer interviewees honoraria in appreciation of their time and insights.

The #community-feedback channel of our community Slack is always open for your feedback, as well.
