Welcome back for another update from PREreview.org!

What’s new at PREreview?

As we continued to improve messaging on the #request-a-review channel of the PREreview community Slack this week, we monitored for the quality and relevancy of the keywords in each message and compared the messages on our live request channel to logged, threaded messages that we plan to test in April. The threaded messages will focus on keywords from each request for ease of discovery and then provide more information about each preprint in the thread below its initial request.

Additionally, we’ve stopped accidentally showing some requests twice.

We also made it possible to add or remove an avatar to your public profile. Check it out on the My Details page the next time you visit PREreview.org!

What’s next?

We’ll be mostly out-of-office next week, so expect our next weeknote on 12 April 2024. In the meantime, if you have any questions or need help with the site, please email contact@prereview.org (instead of help@prereview.org) or use the #help channel on our Slack.

Whenever possible, we offer interviewees honoraria in appreciation of their time and insights.
