Welcome to this week’s product update from PREreview.org! Thanks for joining us!
What’s new at PREreview?
As our localization and translation work goes on, we’ve also begun user research that will help us build a dataset review workflow. This workflow will help community members offer constructive, timely feedback to researchers sharing datasets as early individual research outputs or within preprint manuscripts. We hope to share a test version of this workflow for feedback sometime during the first half of 2025 and to improve it from there before making it live on our webpage. If you’re interested in testing that early version of the workflow, or have other suggestions about what we should include in it, please reach out to our product team at help@prereview.org.
We also added support for 2 new preprint servers this week in response to clubs’ requests. You can now review preprints from SSRN and NeuroLibre on PREreview.org.
What’s next?
With support from colleagues at eLife, we’ll soon begin experimenting with our user interface on PREreview.org to make it easier and more welcoming than ever for newcomers and returning community members alike.
